This collection of wild garlic recipes is a great place to start if you need some tasty inspiration this coming spring.

Late winter, how you tease me.

I feel like a coiled spring, ready to get planting in the garden, but held back by the chance of a hard frost to undo all my work.

Ready to throw the doors and windows open on a sunny day, but held back by the bite in the air.

So instead, I  brighten up dull corners of my home with vases of daffodils.

And spend cold evenings next to the fire, cat on lap, planning this summers adventures in Myrtle the Campervan.

Whilst it’s still too chilly to be relaxing outside, there are signs of the natural world awakening form its long, deep slumber.

The hens have started laying again (thankfully!). Blackthorn blossom is abundant in our hedges, and the wild garlic is ready to be picked and devoured.

So grab your wellies, head out to your nearest wild garlic spot.

Gather some of these fresh vibrant stems, and breathe in the end of winter.

It’s like the reset button has been pressed, an energy refresh if you will.

Wild Garlic Recipes
