Jump into the festive spirit with this Pink Elephant Cocktail recipe. It’s one of the quickest and easiest cocktails to throw together, leaving you more time to enjoy time with your guests.
I’ve got rather a taste for cocktails of late, and this pink elephant is just the latest in a long line of party tipples I’ve been mixing up to share with you this winter.
It’s frivolous and full of whimsy whilst also having a cheeky little kick to it. And most importantly it’s really, really tasty.
It was inspired by the recent hamper of goodies I received from Fentimans, the maker of botanically brewed mixers and soft drinks. As soon as I opened the parcel, I couldn’t wait to jump right into the rose lemonade as it looked sooo pretty!
However before I could indulge, I needed to check out the entire collection. For all you gin lovers, you’re going to be in heaven with their range of tonics. Alongside your traditional premium Indian tonic water, there’s a light version which has 30% less sugar.
There’s also a pink grapefruit tonic and a botanical tonic water which contains an amazing array of natural flavourings from lime flower to lemongrass.
To complement the tonics there’s also a spicy ginger beer with muddled lime, a bitter lemonade and the one I’m using today, the rose lemonade.
Pink Elephant Cocktail
Mixed with just vodka and fresh lime, the cocktail is pure elegant simplicity. Follow the measurements below for your new favourite festive tipple. And if you need more cocktail inspiration, here’s another of my favourites – Prosecco Kir Royale.
- 1 shot of vodka
- A squeeze of lime to taste
- Fentimans Rose Lemonade
- 1 slice of lime
In a fancy cocktail glass add the shot of vodka and the lime juice.
Top up with the pink lemonade and serve with a slice of lime.
Dive right in and enjoy!
Huge thanks to Fentimans for their gorgeous hamper of goodies and sponsoring this recipe post, allowing me to continue bringing you tasty content for free. As always all thoughts (and leftovers!) are my own.
