Ever wondered how to make your very own dog treats? Well wonder no more friends, as these bacon flavour dog treats will be top of your hounds wish list every baking day!
Mix all of the above in a bowl until you’ve got a nice smoothish dough. Flour your work surface and push the dough out with the palm of your hand to begin flattening it. Use a floured rolling pin to gently roll it out fully until it’s about 1/2 an inch thick. It’s quite crumbly, so keep pushing it back together with your hands.
Use a cookie cutter to cut out the shapes, and lay the shapes onto a baking sheet (no need to grease it first).
Bake in a preheated oven for 15 minutes, take out of the oven and leave to cool on the sheet.
Clearly these are to be used as a treat only and are in no way are considered to be a balanced diet for a dog. With the cutter size I have (it’s quite diddy) it made over 50 biscuits which will last at least 10 days in an airtight box, and the rest can be frozen.
Oh, and in case you were wondering, cats don’t like these treats. One. Little. Bit.
