This easy stovetop rice pudding is ready in just 5 minutes, is simple enough for the kids to throw together, and makes the perfect camping food.

Ahh, rice pudding.

For the record, my Mum makes the worlds best rice pudding.

Admittedly it takes forever in her AGA.

But it comes out with that thick, mottled brown skin that we all fight over.

So delicious!

This version is sadly, sans skin.

But it’s also minus the forever cooking time too.

In fact, this easy stovetop version is ready to snaffle in just 5 minutes!

How’s that for speedy?!

Meanwhile, back to the rice pudding…

If you fancy shaking things up a bit, why not serve with some other flavours.

Chopped up banana is always a good addition.

Or how about a sprinkling of brown sugar?

Diced fresh fruit?

Desiccated coconut?

The world is literally your oyster!

Rice pudding is a proper comforting dessert. So much you can do with it flavour wise too.
