Pop the instant coffee in a blender jug and pour over enough boiling water to dissolve the granules (or pop your double espresso shot in the glass). Add in your sugar or syrup at this point if using. Stir very well and let cool.
Pile up the glass with ice.
Pour over your milk of choice and watch those rippled swirl. Stir and indulge. Yum.
If you'd like a smoother brew, crush all in a blender.
