These quick & easy Stovetop Pizza Pockets are the bomb when time is short, the oven breaks, or you’re camping.
Perfect Pizza flavours in 10 minutes flat!
Got a pizza craving?
These Stovetop Pizza Pockets bring you all of the good flavours of freshly made pizza, with none of the hassles.
And if you’re feeding a group, lay out all the ingredients so folk can mix and match their flavours to build their perfect pizza pocket.
I recently made these cute little stovetop pizza pockets in Myrtle.
For those not in the know, Myrtle is my cute little camper van, and it’s in her teeny little kitchen that I create recipe videos for YouTube.
So if you love camping, or you know someone that does, please feel free to share my channel with them.
The recipes are mostly one pan (cos let’s be real, no one likes washing up when camping), easy to prep, cook and most importantly fun!

Stovetop Pizza Pockets
So, back to our stovetop pizza pockets… what’s your favourite flavour pizza?
I was making these for Jonny & his is ham and pineapple.
If you’re feeding a crowd you could lay out different toppings such as: BBQ chicken, Pepperoni, Chilli beef, Ham, Bacon and have everyone make their own pizza pocket.
Have another bowl of shredded mozzarella, one of tomato sauce and dinner time has just got way easier (and more fun!)
Pile the ingredients up in the centre of the wrap, fold the wrap up, and place on a hot griddle for a few minutes each side.
Ta da!
Lunch is served :)
And I made a quick video to prove how darn quick they are to make. You can watch it here!
And here’s the recipe so you can write your shopping list…
Enjoy!
- 1 flour tortilla wrap
- 1-2 tbsp tomato sauce, puree or even ketchup!
- grated mozzarella
- favourite pizza toppings such as: onion, ham, pineapple, tomato, salami etc
- Black pepper
- Dried oregano
- Another small handful of cheese
Preheat a griddle or heavy bottomed frying pan
Splodge the tomato sauce into a rectangle in the centre of the wrap
Lay the pizza pocket fillings out on top of the tomato sauce in an even layer
Wrap up, aiming to keep everything enclosed
Pop onto the pan, fold side down, and cook for 3-4 minutes
Flip over and cook the other side for 3-4 minutes
- Serve with a side salad and a cold beer :)

I love a stove top pizza, but I have never thought to do them in little pockets before. What a great idea! So many filling options too.

What a great idea for a quick pizza, especially if you have a small camper kitchen. I will try this recipe, but I will definitely skip the pineapple, LOL I am Italian

I wanted you to know how much we love this recipe. I make a version of this everyday for my husband’s lunch. We’ve done pizzas, which was very good. Lately it’s been ham and cheese with mustard, or roast beef with provolone and some chopped bell pepper. He works outside, but he’s able to reheat these and then go enjoy them away from others without the mess that sandwiches can be. Thanks again!

Jamie, I love this message, thank you! They are so easy to throw together, and I guess the flavour combos are endless!
