#My5thBirthday Last Party Give Away ~ Free Advertising For One Lucky Blogger!

Thank you friends, we’ve had a blast. I’m a little sad we were so busy writing posts that we didn’t have much time to spend chatting with you, but I’ll enjoy going through all your comments over the next couple of days :)

And a HUGE thank you goes out to Lizzy! There is absolutely no way I could have pulled it off without her, and I don’t know anyone else that would have so readily given up their Saturday night for me & my blog! She is an absolute treasure, and I am so grateful to have her as my friend :)

Good luck if you’ve entered our bazillion giveaways, and here is our very last one, but this one is a little different…

*Please note, this give away is only open to other bloggers*

Do you have a food or country living style blog? If so, how would you like the opportunity to advertise it here on The Hedgecombers for 3 months, for free?

You’ll win a 200×200 advert space. You can either supply me with a button, or I’ll design one with you.

To enter, leave a comment below on why your blog should win! Do make sure you include a link to your blog.

Just in case I get any inappropriate links left, I’m not leaving this one to chance – so I’m going to be hand picking this winner! Your entry will be scrapped if it doesn’t link to a blog in the niche described above. I know, tough love huh?

Good luck all my bloggy buddies, I can’t wait to see who wins this one :)

G’night, Janie x

Ok I’ll start the party off- Janie choose my blog – as this year I’m ging to concentrate on what means the most to me ( apart from my family) my allotment, my garden, my new chickens ( plans are already on the way for these) my love for growing , using and storing my produce ! Basically I’m a down to earth type of mum and I love reading and want to share new tips I am learning on the way!
Now for someone else’s turn ………. So what are you waiting for …….. Have a go……… And read the word!

First off, What a fantastic opportunity. My blog is all about my adventures down the plot, my day job is a chef and I really love getting down the plot and growing my own, to be involved in the whole process from start to finish really inspires me as a chef and a grower
I love getting my 2 children involved also and at times becomes a whole family affair with 3 generations all getting involved . I also keep chickens and on my blog I post about them from time to time.
Hope you enjoy reading my blog as much as I enjoy yours :-)

  3. I am in! That’s one amazing giveaway (not to mention the others!). I make a lots (if not everything) from scratch and I create new recipes, plus my blog is about exotic and unusual ingredients. I am not talking about weird food but rather unknown or forgotten food sources. Best example are the rare indian berries on my blog or the soursop fruit. I do garden and I do mention that by word or with pictures and examples at times.

  4. Wow, you are being super nice. Pick my blog, pick my blog. I am new to food blogging and absolutely love it. I breath, live, eat, sleep and dream about food and recipes. I am hoping to inspire people to use everything in their pantry even the ‘what do I do with that’ items. I also blog about easy recipes from West Africa as most people already have the stuff to prepare this food anyway. I am also hoping to use the blog to document my recipes for the mini chefs as it is important to me that they like food, learn to cook it and know food from both their cultures.
This would be a great opportunity for me to share my recipes and ideas with a larger number of people and to learn back from them.
Thanks masses for the opportunity and good luck all

  5. What a great giveaway, Janie! Choose me! I blog about country living and homesteading and I want to share my blog with others so they will be inspired to live the simple life. I want others out there to know that homesteading is within their reach and they can do it!

  6. When you are a successful restaurant chef, your passion reaches thousands of people who love food. When you are a successful personal chef, you don’t reach nearly as many. I am blessed beyond belief to have my week of clients and my handful of folks who I do special events for in Louisville, KY, but I can only directly share my work with so many people! Cooking is what I was made for – it helps me have the confidence to run a business by myself and it gives me the sort of purpose that causes me to strike up conversations about food with perfect strangers in the grocery store. Someday, I want to open a culinary school, but in the meantime, my blog is my teaching vessel. So many people say that they don’t like to cook, but the truth is generally that they just don’t know the fundamentals that could open up a whole new culinary world for them. My blog offers fun tips, tricks, and recipes that will make cooking easier and more enjoyable. Cooking is like math – you have to learn how to add and subtract before you can do calculus. :) Plus, my blog is a fantastic way to share my passion for food photography. My pictures are not retouched or altered in any way other than possibly adding my name to the corners. Food is my everything, and I would be delighted if I could have my blog shared with more people who are eager to love cooking. It is incredibly rewarding to have had feedback and comments from every part of the world, and I’ve only just begun! Thanks, Janie. :)
