End of the Little Red Pug.

This little car has belonged to everyone in my family at some point. The parents bought it as a second car when they were in business about 18 years ago. I owned it for a while after having some car related disaster. My brother had it some years later too (mind you it needed a new engine after he’d finished with it!)

When Jon moved down, his Landrover failed its MOT and it was passed on to him. He has been driving it round for the past couple of years. It was literally falling apart!

However, the end of its journey has arrived. It was taken to the breakers yard to make room for Jon’s new (old!) Landrover that he’s been doing up for the past few months.

Bye Bye little Peugeot, you certainly gave it your best!

  1. Was expecting to read about the demise of a small pet dog when I saw the title of this post! Thankfully it wasn’t about a dog, however as the driver of a 21 year old car you have my sympathies x

May your car stay in good health & fine fettle for at least another 21 years Mrs S!
(I probably shouldn’t admit that I had to sweep a tear away after taking the last shot…)
      xx

  2. How sad I know what that feels like, we had to part with our small green fiesta a couple of years ago and its like getting rid of an old trusted friend.

So glad it was’nt your dog.
