Chicken Forage
- Mulberry tree (avoid the white berried one as the fruit are insipid. Find a self fertile type that fruits for up to 3 months)

- Alfalfa (differing reports on this one, some say you shouldn’t feed it to hens?)
- Dandelion
- Comfrey (the only plant to cope with raw chicken poop. Said to be toxic in large amounts)
- Stinging nettle
- Forage pea/field pea

- Buckwheat
- Iron & clay peas (?)
- Kale/collards/spring greens

- Diverse Poultry Pasture Mix (which includes; Ryegrass, Strong, Sheeps & Chewing Fescue, Bentgrass, Lucerne, Birdsfoot Trefoil, White Clover, Chicory, Burnet, Sheeps Parsley, Sheeps Burnet & Yarrow

- Vipers bugloss (number 1 bee plant apparently)
- Bird’s foot trefoil
- Oregano
- Golden oregano
- Greater knapweed
